Unfortunately for many of us, it is still indeed "our religion". Perhaps one day, we can say, "our FORMER religion".

For one thing, they don't think they've actually made mistakes, so no rectifying is needed.
For another, they're "God's Organization", so who the hell is anybody else to tell them how to run their own show?
Thirdly, they'd rather gargle with broken glass than be seen capitulating to their opponents.
