There was a Muslim, a Jew, a Catholic, a Mormon, a Buddhist, a Hindu and a Baptist all at a park one day when a person was freakily hit by lightning, and they went to help her, and she seemed to be ok - knowing they were of different dress and religion they looked at each other, smiling, knowing that spiritually they were of the one mind - they cared, beyond what they had on.

There were some other people there too, quite well dressed, that were freaking out about the end of the world.

........not everyone is of the same mind I suppose.

And the J-Dub stood to the side clucked his teeth and said about the person freakishly hit by lightning, "See what happens when you don't obey Jehovah!"

Here's something I noticed while reading some scriptures on the "presence" of Christ.

Matt 24:24 (NWT): For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Even the chosen ones will be mislead. So obviously being a "chosen one" isn't totally dependent on getting everything right, or following the right people.

    Thanks MJ.

I wonder if a chosen one is mislead if they are still a chosen one?

arrghh...I have a ways to go before I get the Witness way of thinking down. Being a chosen one is ultra-conditional in dub thinking...A dub would see this as "...even those who had been chosen ones prior to being misled."

I thought of it as Satan would love to mislead an anointed person. What a feather in his cap. They wouldn't all be mislead and if one of them was they would no longer be chosen, until they returned to Jehovah.

Don't try too hard to get the dub thinking down. I'm trying just as hard to lose the dub thinking.
