First off I'd like to know if it's a fact that the greeks did not use punctuation . We are not talking hebrew in that text but greek . Anywho the facts support a later date rather than an immediate one . Jesus did not ascend to heaven till some 40 days after his resurrection and the new testament is clear that the resurrection of the righteous had not happened at that time , such as the apostle Pauls seventh trumpet blast or even revelation has the resurrection taking place at the end of the world not 2k years ago .
