Awe Gumby, I'm the same way with my daughters. I just miss my kids so much and from the sounds of it I'm not alone in this.All those years of hard work wishing and planning for the day they would all be grown and gone living their lives, happy only to long for them to be back under one roof again.
I guess it's true you can never really go home, it's never the same and when your home as you knew it is broken up, well the longing can be unbearable.
I'm glad they are independent, free of the WTS and for the most part happy getting on with their lives, some comfort in that.

GOOD ONE UNCLEBRUCE,
MY 4 KIDS ARE GROWN NOW . ONLY ONE SON IS NOT MARRIED. AND I HAVE 6 GRANDCHILDREN. WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE FORTUNATE THAT THEY ALL LIVE FAIRLY CLOSE TO US.
AND IT'S SO WONDERFUL TO BE ABLE TO SHARE HOLIDAYS AND OTHER SPECIAL TIMES WITH THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES.
