    "Advertize, advertize, advertise...."

Now isn't that a marketing word?

Quotas, number counting, record keeping, re: how many books magazines etc being left with people

Annual reports, schools to train representatives, public speaking training

So how much of this organization shows that it more a business more than a religion?

    Business.

Mag Watctower, Assleep, books = Sales Letter.

Product = Borg. hot air, stirring hopes and emotions (Peddles under false claim as a holy borg).

5 meetings a week, conventions = sales meetings and pushing higher quota agenda. (same

recycled crap for 135 years with only a few same bible verses recited over, and over, and over to support their holiness).

Bethels = Free cost La bor forced clones/drones factories.

IMHO Lady Lee - I would say about 70 % business and 30% religion

Once the mark buys into the pitch that the religious texts all apply to the "Society", the Society owns that person. Goodbye free will.

I agree with Gary. People often forget this is really a corporation masquerading as a religion. All the terminology relates in one way or another to "peddling" their product (manufactured publications).

If you stripped the theological undertones from the rhetoric, what are you left with? AMWAY .....

"Advertise! Advertise! Advertise!" When Rutherford said that he also said "You are Jehovah's Publicity Agents"

Somehow, that just doesn't sound right.

Why do think a JW is called a "Publisher"?

    They publish and distripute books.

"schools to train representatives, public talk training"

Both of those were the result of Nathan Knorr's presidency of the WTBTS.

Before that, the Witnesses were not that well versed, and so had to lug around to the doors phonograph records so that the householder could here Judge Rutherford giving a sermon. The Judge must have thought that no one else than himself could do justice to the message being delivered.

Working for another publishing company, you will get paid, benefits, retirements, some recognition.

Working For RipoffTower, you get crams, nausea, depression, low self-esteem, nightmares, sexual abuse, and counting... and you have to PAY them... and NO PAYCHEK...

The ConArtist Tower is the WORST and most GREEDY EMPLOYER EVER...
