A sad but true observation.
Most, if not all, of the elderly people (all JWs I presume) on the cover of the 1984 Watchtower are now gone. They have indeed passed away.
Another example that the Watchtower doesn't know what it is talking about. Why do people listen to it and follow it? Because they print magazines and books?

By this time it is clear that this is not a victorious but a losing organisation, their doctrines are a mess of instability, and their growth is decelerating, even after 120 yeras they are nothing but a small insignificant marginal group.
1914 was a marked year only in their imagination and nothing came out of its supposed significance.
