Since 1914 Jehovah has been busy being the editor of the Watchtower magazine! --VM44
Jesus accomplished more on earth in 33 years than he's accomplished in the 91 years he's been enthroned as king.
WHAT HAS JESUS BEEN DOING AS ENTHRONED KING since 1914? He's been waiting down at the soup kitchen for something to eat, over at the employment cue for a job, and around at the public hospital to have those wounds looked at. Haven't you seen him ? I thought I saw him bending over helping someone in the gutter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ He's certainly invisible to the wtbts - no doubt about that.
Spot on. Also, in case some of you haven't noticed... He's been filling the pews in the church around the corner. You know the one that just had a major addition added or the new one out on the main highway that the congregation had built because that old Kingdom Hall they bought from the Jehovah's Witnesses a few years ago was just too small.
Don't you think that Jesus' presence and all the way to the great tribulation would wrap up rather quickly.....The bible says in Math. 24:34.."Truly I say to YOU that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur."
One definition of "generation" in my dictionary says...: The average time interval between the birth of parents and the birth of their offspring.
So maybe a 20 year span? Let's see 1914 was 92 years ago.. Don't buy it.
The bible says in Math. 24:34.."Truly I say to YOU that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur."
The WTS quit using that scripture in 1995 when they changed the meaning of the word "Generation". They haven't used Matt 24:34 since then.
A crappy job. He needs to sit back down, and pass the scepter

C'mon. Leave Jesus alone! Jesus is "waiting". Just like the watchmen have to wait so that when it does happen, everything will go on without a hitch. And the majority of the 144,000 up there are waiting too because they'll have a hand in kicking ass at Armageddon. Meanwhile, Brother Russell continues to oversee the dispensing of our food.
He went on vacation for a few months to Mexico, then he wrote a book, cleaned the garage and is just watching your every move.
The preaching work has been so successful that not one person in a hundred can give a coherent answer to what Jehovah's Witnesses actually believe.
So true. Even many Jehovah's Witnesses can't give a coherent answer as to what they believe.
I guess Jesus handed the reigns over to his genius compatriots, the GB, and went on a trip. Sitting around playing bridge and waiting for it to be time for the Big A got to be too boring.
