I left in 95 by doing the Move-Out-of-State Fade. The internet was around, but, like LDH, I never looked for it until I moved back home and got "gang blessed" at Wal-Mart.
I found this site early one evening and I couldn't stop reading. Before JWD, I always thought I would go back if I could ever clear up some personal issues. After reading the truth about the troof, there's no way in hell I'd EVER go back now.
My partner is almost as grateful to JWD as I am. This is where I get out my frustrations about the cult. Having never been a JW, he just doesn't understand, even though he TRIES very hard to.
There is no way that I would have ever gotten past my issues with being an xJW without you guys and this board.
