I wonder if that "Protective Warning" was issued by a certain "Tommy" who used to be an elder...until he left his pioneer wife and ran off with a 15 year old unbaptized publisher. He was always sooooo interested in the younger ones!

Then, if Internet dangers confront you, you will wisely flee from them. - 1 Corinthians 6:18

    Which Bible translation is this?

Anyone got the link to Tommy's Apostate List?

he is a member of another group [Former Jehovah's Witness Support Forum] that is clearly an apostate group.

Maybe I missed it, but as I recall, just because you aren't a witness doesn't make you an apostate.

Apostate, for the longest time, was a special word saved for those who did their worse to reak havoc against the WTBTS. Not just anybody who left the "truth".

some JW groups have even allowed disfellowshipped members into the group.

WOW, amazing! you've gotta be shitting me, is that for real? Some "uncleanones" from this "dirty" internet have joined your "clean" group, crykee.

Bothers/sisters, please take all means necessary to protect your spiritually. Because in the end: Each one will carry his own load. - Galatians 6:5

Still it doesn't stop you to try carrying that load for everyone else, or better still, get everyone else carry your load of crap.

I do understand that some brothers need to go onto the internet to download child pornography, however I strongly advise that they stay away from these apostate sites and "keep themselves pure."

    Your brother in the faith

I've even made a list of all the apostates [and other dangers] I've seen on the JW Groups.

    OMG......someone clearly has no life.....

Terry said: What JW's are dealing with is FEAR. The Watchtower has done a really good propaganda job on that subject. Fear--but, of what? "losing spirituality"??

It's funny that you say that because I was talking with my sister-in-law a few weeks ago. She's a typical Dub: got married young, went from having daddy look after her to having hubby look after her and has never held a job outside the home. Anyhoo, we were talking and she clearly does NOT want to work. Not because she's lazy but because (and I quote): "...I don't want to lose my spirituality.."

She goes out in Service 2-3 times a week, goes to all the meetings, blah, blah, blah. Ya, it's easy when you don't have to put in a 40 hour work week to do all that but it suddenly becomes a "heavy burden" when you have a job. It's quite pathetic that they equate "spirituality" with the number of meetings you are forced to attend.

Kennison said: They're beginning to sound a little bit paranoid.

    Beginning to?

Nina said: I wonder if that "Protective Warning" was issued by a certain "Tommy" who used to be an elder...until he left his pioneer wife and ran off with a 15 year old unbaptized publisher.

Sorry Nina, you'll have to be more specific. Your description of Tommy fits such a broad range of elders.

I think him saying that he warning us to protect ourselves while at the same time telling us to carry our own load is a pretty classic double think..

Honesty - Watch out. You're about to be bombarded with hateful, venomous emails that are riddled with foul language and threats of violence. I sent out a couple of emails to some JDumbs and I couldn't believe the hate they spewed back at me. Such fine examples of Christians they are.

My inbox was full this morning but only one contained a negative response. Actually, it was more than negative because a drunken sailor in port at Tunisia or marseilles would have turned red from the language this theo (dore jarazc)- cratic sister used on my apostate ears. I bet she doesn't say those kind of things around the kingdumb hell.
