    Shining One:

Your analogy is flawed. There was nothing poisonous about the fruit of the tree. It was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When Adam and Eve ate from it, they did not die, they obtained knowledge of good and evil. When God eventually found out about this, he removed them from the garden so that they would die. Their death was not a consequence of their actions; it was the punishment that God inflicted on them.

LOL: What's so bad about Satan? Besides all of the other well known "things", this fallen angel cheats at cards! Can't even have an honest game without using his powers. That has ticked off a lot of the "other" Gods. ----Nuff said!

Robhic, what's so 'good' about satan?

If two wrongs don't make a right, then, where does this put satan and God?

Shawn, Stick to the analogy as regards to the original question. Don't bury it under a mountain of manure. Rex

    Hi Robhic,
Why did I already know that you would ignore the point and try to further defend your own weak argument?

    Robhic,
God determines your length of life to begin with. We are talking about the concept of God and not your attempt at moralizing. By His very definition He is in control of His creation yet at the same time creation that is 'in His image', are free moral agents. He sets the rules: we play by them and that is the end of the argument. All life is FROM HIM and all life is determined BY HIM.

Biblically Satan is the god of this world and the source of all darkness and evil, even if his destructive actions are not specifically mentioned. He gives power and direction to the two super evil mystical entities the besat 666 and Babylon the Great, and resists the enlightment that can save mankind.

Tetra what does your divinity consist of? All humans are mortal, evolution (that you believe in) was not powerful or intelligent enough to produce immortals.

    LMS,
This is what we have here. Confusion, blasphemy, glorification of self and nonsense. I agree with what you are saying. Those who say there is no God sure do a lot of moralizing yet they cannot tell you the source of their morality, nor of their own concept of justice because they reach a point where their almighty logical arguments break down. Then they are not even honest enough to admit when it happens! In other words, we have a haven for liberals!!!! LOL

That don't make a lick of sense.

Being a free moral agent by that argument is like a man condemned to die by hanging. You tell him he's free to go, but you don't take the rope off his neck. The farther he runs the more he chokes himself...but hey, he's free.
