Optimistic, Pessimistic, or Realistic, which category do you fall into?

Which category do you most often fall into?

Optimistic on purpose. I've met other survivors who have that same determination to live life large. After scraping the bottom, some of us choose to thumb our nose at fate ever afterwards.

I'm always optimistic, and then realistic if nothing I wanted happens.

But never pessimistic.

always pessimistic, something I blame on my JW upbringing....not much to be optimistic about when you are raised to believe the apocalypse is just around the corner!!! LOL

But I am trying to be more 'realistic' and find a healthy balance between realism and hope, and understanding that I can largely control my own outcomes.

extremely optimistic (generally) - or as I like to phrase it "The Glass is half full NOT half empty" . but with a healthy dose of realism

I used to be very pessimistic (growing up in the bOrg you don't have to wonder why), now I'm more of a realist who has increasing moments of optimism.
