Due to the popularity of the previous article of this nature, it's time for the next installment of; you might be an Islamist if.......

....You kill all of your daughters because it is the 'honorable' thing to do after accusing your wife of adultery.

Then we have the continuing saga of Muslims killing other Muslims because they follow the wrong 'prophet', killing Jews because they have a stake in your alleged area and Christians because they help the Jews. Why is this so? It's not the culture but the teachings of the Koran and associated other documents.

    Hi Jeannie,
Islam is defended by libs everywhere because they see it as an ally against capitalism and a opportunity to promote hatred of America (and Christians). It is a cult and one much worse than the JWs are or will ever be. Check this out:
Dr. Jerry Vines of the Southern Baptist was critisized and villified for comments about Muhammed being a 'demon-posessed pedophile'. Dr. Vines' statements were made in reference to the new book, "Unveiling Islam: An Insider's Look at Muslim Life and Beliefs" (Kregel Publications). It is written by scholars Ergun and Emir Caner, brothers raised as Muslims who are today dynamic and outspoken Christians. Ergun is assistant professor of theology and church history at Criswell College in Dallas, while Emir is assistant professor of church history and Anabaptist studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C.
Dr. Vines also quoted from the Hadith, a respected source for Islamic teaching among Muslim clerics and followers worldwide. Upon examination, the Hadith verifies that Muhammad did marry the nine-year-old daughter of a friend. The girl, named Aisha, became known as the "mother of believers."
"It's simply a matter of quoting [Islamic] sources," said Emir Caner. "If we are wrong in our understanding of the Islamic scriptures, we would be happy to be corrected."
The specific Hadith citation concerning Muhammad's relationship with the young girl is in volume 7, book 6, number 64 and 65, said Ergun Caner. (Both Emir and Ergun Caner were Sunni Muslims who became Christians in 1982.)
"The comments in question cannot be considered bigotry when they come from Islamic writings," Ergun said during a press conference hosted by Baptist Press in St. Louis.
A lengthy passage from the Hadith, volume 1, book 1, chapter 1, shows that Muhammad himself believed he was under demonic influence, but it notes that Muhammad's wife is the one who deemed his experience as "divine," said Ergun.
Concerning terrorism and Islamic jihad, Emir noted differential interpretations by Muslims themselves. Some see jihad as a "spiritual war," while others see it as meaning "physical," he said.
"Some Muslims want to allegorize their own scriptures because they don't want to defend jihad," Emir said. "But if you take the Koran at its word, or Muhammad at his word, then you'll find physical jihad." In fact, he noted, the highest level of Muslim heaven – which has 70 perpetual virgins on couches – is reserved for Muslims who "shed their blood" (Hadith 135). Islam's inclination toward violence, he added, also is reflected in the Koran: "Slay the enemy where you find him" (Surah 9.92).
Dr. Vines was simply pointing out these distinctions. Since the media so often treats the Muslim religion with utter reverence – something we Baptists are unfamiliar with – he felt it was important that SBC members understand these distinctions. If those in the media were doing their jobs, Dr. Vines would never have felt it necessary to point out these disquieting elements of an enigmatic religion.
Ergun Caner observed an element of hypocrisy in the quest to portray Islam as a peaceful religion: "A so-called Christian who bombs an abortion clinic or shoots an abortionist and says God told him to do it does that act against the Bible," he said. "But the Muslim who commits acts of violence in jihad does so with the approval of Muhammad. … When Sept. 11 happened, we were all shocked. But where was the international outrage when jihad killed 3 million people (Christian people, I might add) in Sudan?"

You kill all of your daughters because it is the 'honorable' thing to do after accusing your wife of adultery.

Kinda like when god killed all his kids(daughters) cuz they weren't Israelites....his favored and only people.

Your culture of hate has so much influence that the government gives in to terror.

Kinda like the Israelites that hated all their enemies and slaughtered them with the help of their god.

Kinda like the 12 tribes of Jacob who split and battled to the death with each other. And kinda like much of christian history of them killing each other and threatening of future deaths to those who non-believe...all because of differences in beliefs although they all follow the same prophet ( see the word "Heretics" "Salvation", "Apostacy" "Trinity" , in any bible dictionary)

Why is this so? It's not the culture, it's the interpretations of the bible and various literature and sermons that accompany it.

Apparently another global liberal conspiracy is afoot. FWIW even the 'hippy' friends of mine recognize unhealthy oppressive ideologies when they see them. What you may be mistaking for defending Islam and antiAmericanism is tolerance of cultural differences and democracy in action.

    Hi Gumby,
I am amused by your red herring, it smells quite bad though...
    >Kinda like the 12 tribes of Jacob who split and battled to the death with each other.
What was the cause of this and was it because of a Christian teaching?
    >And kinda like much of christian history of them killing each other and threatening of future deaths to those who non-believe...all because of differences in beliefs although they all follow the same prophet ( see the word "Heretics" "Salvation", "Apostacy" "Trinity" , in any bible dictionary)
Where in the Bible does it say we should kill all who believe differently from us? Isn't that the sole province of God and not man?
    >Why is this so? It's not the culture,
No, it is the difference in the teachings as I have already proven.
    >it's the interpretations of the bible and various literature and sermons that accompany it.
Really? Where have you heard this?

    >Kinda like the 12 tribes of Jacob who split and battled to the death with each other.

    2. Where in the Bible does it say we should kill all who believe differently from us? Isn't that the sole province of God and not man?

1.The point is Rex. it doesn't matter if it was christian or not. They had the same god(jesus) and all had the same set of instructions to live by given by he himself.

    2. The bible doesn't say we should kill each other......it says god will slaughter most of mankind. The bible only gives the requirememnts for death......that of non-belief, and many of the so called christians did gods killing for him down through history. Why? Because the church believed god entrusted his purposes with the church....an idea they derived from the bible.

You believe that George W. made the Tsunami by setting off an H-bomb under the Indian Ocean on that fault line.

You might not be if you believe Madonna's Kabala guru who said Tsunami was God's revenge on Muslims. When asked about the Holocaust on Jews same guy said that was because they were not good Jews because they didn't follow the Kabala.

Then, there was Rev. Franklin Graham who intimated that Katrina was Gods judgement on decadent New Orleans...(you know, house of the rising sun and all...) so I guess you could be an Islamicist and believe that one.
