Crumpet, yes its' about recovery. Women are stronger emotionally, does this mean they would recover from abuse much quicker than a male? Recovery from 'any' abuse is not going to be 100% but it certainly gives us a goal to shoot at.
I remember reading a story about a young man (not a JW) who survived from a wicked abuse. The odds of recovery was against him, but he did overcome the odds. His determination and will made it all possible. He didn't linger and dwell on all the evil that was done to him. Today, this man is a succesful business man.

A Harley, this is what this org does not recognize, we're all different. One size shoe does not fit everyone. Yeah, they want us to stay in 'their' wt-box.
