Gift cards/certificates for resturants like Ruby Tuesday, Outback, etc. are appreciated by almost everyone. I bought one hour of flight time for a friend who belongs to a flying club. For friends/family who are Christians I have bought Bibles (no, not that apostate NWT version of lies) and cd's of Christian artists like Casting Crowns, Barlow Girl, Third Day, etc. but I wouldn't recommend giving them as presents to active JW's They might like the music and leave the FDS Joe Hoba and start worshipping Jesus.
