    This liberal JW ...

Has learned to be VERY discreet.

Has friends outside of the org and acquaintances inside.

Vents on internet 'apostate' forums so that she doesn't have to risk saying the wrong thing to the wrong JW in her life.

Believes God is much more merciful and reasonable than the WTS makes HIM out to be.

    A liberal JW...

...Spends an hour in field service, and then goes off to a "Bible Study" (i.e. a nice meal at Zippy's)

...Doesn't mind quoting "old light" in comments during meetings

...wears color-coordinated red-white-and-blue during meetings that occur on Election Day and the Fourth of July

...has (*gasp*) non-JW friends at school and goes to (extended) family Christmas dinners

    Reads very little WT literature...

Highly selective of who they associate with at the KH...

At all meeting attendance sits in the back or hangs out in the library(usually thumbing through old books and bound volumes)...leaves early...

Goes to movies they enjoy...voracious reader of wide range of topics...

Keeps low profile...does only what is needed...never voluntaries for anything...much less reaching out for any position...
