Is anyone familiar with play therapy for children? Anyone used it before? Opinions? It has been recommended to me for my 9 year old (anxiety/ADD related) and I have done some internet research and it seems like it could be very effective because it would allow me to be involved in all aspects, unlike traditional therapy where they treat the sessions as confidential ( yes, as a parent I am NOT allowed to be party to what is discussed with MY child)

I'm interested in hearing first hand experiences with play therapy if anyone has any. We have our first appointment on Monday.
