Agreed. I just hopped on for a sec before I hit the road - but I think that is what Simon says about the reasons he created this board. He expects it to be a place to lean on at certain points in your exit - and then move on.
I think that is part of the reason he seems like an a$$hole to people who stick around and talk about mindless stuff - he would like to just keep it as a brief stop on the way out.
That's not to say I don't appreciate the longtime people on here that feel a sense of duty in helping others on their way out .... they provide an invaluable service. In some ways I also enjoy doing the same for others that are just logging on for the first time.
(Of course, with my wife on JWD now, I have been checking in a little more than usual lately!)
