Does anyone know who to destroy a DVD on purpose, without the disc showing evidence of being damaged? My spouse brought home the Sparlock video and another one from the DC. I need to destroy this mind controling video, without wreaking havoc to my family life, s

Leave it under the couch cushiion and "accidentally" sit on it?

Just throw it in the microwave for 5 seconds and when asked, shrug like you don't know.

PS: (Granted this will quite visibly damage the disk - but it'll be much more entertaining than the contents on those videos.)

Put it on the dash of your car on a hot day.

Take an electric engraver pen and mark the back with your initials (My b-i-l did this with his entire music collection).

    30-grit sandpaper, vigorous scrubbing.

Hammer it in to little pieces.

To hide the evidence, do it to some of your favorie CD's too.

    oops

Frankly, I think the DVD is pretty funny. If you can laugh at strategic parts, you might be able to defuse its impact.

If you have kids, buy them the Incredibles, Toy Story, etc. on DVD and let them watch what they prefer. :D

I forget what stupid advice the WT came up with recently. Oh, yeah, bedroom advice for couples. How we should discuss what is biblical or not. I defused it completely by laughing about it, and then repeating the collossally stupid advice over and over again for several days.

You can do something similar with this video. Every time your wife does something you don't like, tell her it "makes you sad." To make this effective, ham it up and have a bible handy. "It makes me AND Jehovah sad. You don't want to make Jehovah sad do you?" Then laugh hilariously. Pretty soon all you have to do is roll your eyes and make a sad face.

Magnets dont work, it is optical.

    From yahoo:

"liightly run a lighter across the shiny surface.. as to not melt the plastic.. but just barely heat it up so the plastic shifts... without burning...this will not harm the information on the disk.. jutst mishape the plastic.. this will bend the light as the laser tries to read the sectors on the disk... rendering the disk useless.. done right will not show any evidnt the disk has been tampered with...

Hold the flame about 3-5inches away from the plastic... dont let the flame touch the CD and then move it round quickly... until you notice the plastic heat up... when it heats.. watch for the plastic to barley liquify, and shift the CD causinf the plastic to ooze one way.. just ever so slightly as to be seen when it's cooled.. practice on a blank CD 1st ."

Silly boy. One cannot degauss a DVD. It's etched.

Scratch the PLASTIC on the other hand ... and you are done!
