How I got my daughter out of the CULT of Jehovah's Witnesses

My husband and I were both raised and baptized as Jehovah's Witnesses. My husband was an elder for over 15 years. During those years when he was an elder, our eyes began to be opened to what was going on behind the scenes, that their organization was more political than Biblical. Most of all, our christian conscience was not allowed to be excercised, which started our secret questioning. We formally resigned in 1983 and was labeled apostates. Two of our three children followed us in this decision. So we lost one of our daughters to this CULT for ten years. When many efforts of trying to communicate with her by way of phone calls, letters and even surprised visits failed, I decided to go back and became a member again so I could communicate with her and eventually show her their CULT like errors. It was not an easy task as I also had to prove to her that her elder husband was also a child molester. Yes he molested my other daughter when she was 11 years old. It took 2 years to accomplish a success. I wrote a book describing all the steps that was needed to do this, which was not easy because of the CULT fog and her husbands dominances. My book is entitled: "GOING UNDERCOVER...To Rescue My Daughter...From the Cult of Jehovah's Witnesses" and will be available on Google in a couple of weeks. I sincerely hope my information will comfort and give hope to those found in the same situation.

Welcome hopie! What a courageous thing to do...it must have been horribly stressful to go back "in" to get your daughter "out". I don't know if I would have had the guts...but it is true...a mother's love should know no bounds. (Well...except for MY mom who shuns me).

Looking forward to perhaps reading your book and wish it much success.

Going back must truely have felt like the dog returning to his own vomit.

But so many of us have loved ones still in and it seems like it is the only way to communicate with the ones that we love.
