I sure hope that her computer locked up or something. This is disturbing. Does anyone know her personally that can call her or go by her house??

So sorry everyone!!!
I didn't think I'd posted that thread, I started a very long thread and then discarded it before going to bed.
Anyway, the help requested was for my husband, I was very upset last night because he is going through some horrible complications following his double hernia operation. I was asking the forum if anyone with medical knowledge could give me any info, because we're not trusting all the doctors say at the moment.
Long and short of it is that he had a hematoma on one side and despite this, still never got to see the consultant who did the operation....just district nurses who came every day to dress the wound. Then a GP said he was OK and didn't need it dressing now.....and two days later he developed an infection.
He was given antibiotics but they didn't work after 3 days, now he had double antibiotics and the GP says he will likely need to go into hospital on Thursday on an antibiotic drip for at least 7 days....
She made the comment that this infection was "bound to happen anyway" because of all the dried blood left inthe wound.
We're so fed up and worried....he still hasn't seen the consultant who did the op and I just don't understand what the heck is going on.

and they said he might just need the whole operation doing again to clean the wound out!
