Sorry for the attn. getting post, but I am so pissed off tonight that I can't see straight. ALL these f*cks need to be shot.

Lemme tell y'all why I am so mad. I work w/ abused kids in a group home. Today, one of 'em who has been horribly abused, not even a teenager, decides to get attn. by pulling out three of his teeth. With his bare hands, punching himself, whatever, one at a time. Some of these kids are so ruined I don't think they will EVER even slightly recover.

That's why I get so pissed at these sanctimonious assholes on this board who spout off about how "jehovah will take care of it" when they have no idea. Don't they understand, NOTHING CAN EVER MAKE UP FOR THIS!!!!! If they heard of the horrors I deal w/ every day, saw them, maybe they would change their minds, see kids w/ enormous scars on their bodies from parents who tried to KILL them @ 4 yrs. old. Seeing kids who don't shit for weeks, because their bowels are the only things they feel they have any control over. Oh, but wait, I forgot, they don't help people in this way, they give themsomething far better. The watchtower. Or death if you don't agree w/ them. Sorry, & thanks for letting me vent, it's been a rough day. avishai

Avishai, I'm glad you posted that little note.

I figured the eye catching post would draw attention: it did.

It's very sad, tragic in almost impossible to comprehend the damage that sexual abuse (or any abuse) has upon people, especially young adults/teens, when they are unable to adequately express their hurt.

To read what you wrote about that one individual pulling out 3 of his teeth: - as well as the other poor souls who have been horribly abused with possible life long psychological scars, made me sad and angry.

Yes, to think that the WTS can simply 'leave it in Jehovah's hands' makes me want to hurl (puke/vomit).

It's good you posted. Someone needs to read it.

    Good to vent Avishai.

They told me I had to have two baptized Jehovah's Witnesses (preferably in good standing) observing and not interfering. Then those two baptized Jehovah's Witnesses (preferably in good standing) needed to wait on Jehovah to motiviate the elders in the congregation to approach them, evidently trusting that Jehovah will tell them who the two eyewitnesses are. Then, AND ONLY THEN, can these two people tell what they saw. If the elders find the evidence compelling they will consider taking action, ranging from a stern lecture to private reproof. They would only disfellowship if the rapist showed no remorse.

Now since I didn't have this (I had two witnesses but they were worldly and they didn't stand by and watch me being raped so they didn't count) I was told I need to "wait on Jehovah".

And then when you see these innocents suffering so badly, and you hear this evil, evil talk, it just makes me physically ill.

If these are indeed God's chosen people, then I say destroy me now. I want no part of their paradise.

Your post reminded me of how my stomach got tied up in knots when my JW mom smirked and said that those that go public with their stories of abuse and molestation are just not to be believed if they are disfellowshipped...that their having been disfellowshipped automatically invalidates any "claim of abuse" they have.

"jehovah will take care of it" <------that phrase just turns my stomach now as I have heard it being used so many times in an attempt to excuse ones from reporting abuse in the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses.

You know, the title brought me in here because it's almost exactly what my mother and sister said to me regarding my father's abuse. "What he did wasn't THAT bad."

    Gee thanks, mum.

Avashie its a very hard job that your doing, do you have supervision where you are able to off load the stress and mental anguish these poor cases can cause you? Hope so.

Thumbs up to you for doing the work you do.
