Hey Aussies, Is Peter Brock a Dub?

I just saw on the 6.00 o'clock news that Peter Brock is racing in Bathurst this weekend. I had heard ages ago that he had become a dub. Surely the WTS would 'tut 'tut at him engaging in such a "dangerous worldly activity" as motor racing? Or is his being a witness just gossip, a dub urban legend?

Is he still a dub or has he had the good sense to avoid the borg? I hope so, he was one of motorsports greats. It will be great to see him race again in 'ol "05".

I doubt that Peter (Perfect) Brock is a witness. I remember being told that he was baptised, at about 6 different assembly/conventions. he was recently on TV saying that a magnetic device that mysteriously made cars drive better. This caused him much drama a number of years ago. If he was 'in' I don't think he would be back at Bathurst.

Hey Mackin, You dont start too many threads so I thought id respond. As for the question at hand, I wouldnt know. Its news to me. He seems "square" enough to be a dub. So maybe he is.

The last I heard, when I was inactive but still associating, was that his wife was a return visit, but Peter wasn't involved.

This is the first I've heard about Peter being baptised. He (sometimes joined by his wife) makes several commercials, and I doubt he would do them if he was a good little baptised JW.

    Beck,

Lucky you, I had leftover pizza. But I'm going to a Thai resturant on Sunday night in Christchurch. My favourite one in fact, it's called the Thai Smile Resturant.

B.T.W. I'm spending the day tomorrow on a Marae, a Youthline event. I guess I better watch out for the evil Maori spirits eh. Oh well, if I get too scared I can always pray to Jehovah eh. LOL.

    But Brockie is already Perfect.

Cheers, Max - first car an HR (186 two speed auto), then a 202 VB, then a 253 HZ, then a 3 cyl Daihatsu, now a VC and a 1998 4WD Rodeo Turbo Diesel dual cab ute (as driven by the Taliban)

    Prisca,

So it was an exaggerated dub story then. When I heard it he was a baptised witness. All the young dub petrol-heads were agog.

Shows you can't believe anything the dubs say.

    G'day Mackin,

I think the closest Peter perfect got to "the struth" was when one of his Holden racing mechanics married my non baptised sister .. that was all of 20 years ago ..

How can he be a Dub ....

Brocky is only one step below Christ himself and above the anointed ...

That being so, he knows too much to fall for them
