The idea is if you are stoned and want a natter, come on in. Obviously we can't stop you straight people coming in, and you're welcome too, just don't complain about the smoke, okay?
And in the time-honured tradition of stoned people talking to themselves when there is no one else around (or am I the only one?);
I normally smoke Northern Lights. Indicas make me chill, sativas make me far too mentally lucid to relax. Brain on overdrive; great for Glasters (big festival) as they don't make me 'mong out' ('become utterly immobile and possibly semi-comatose') the way I can with indica.
I never had the opportunity to experience the difference in England! Grass was (five years ago) still far less available than resins. It was normally described as 'skunk', and was way stronger than the resins that were common then.
Now resins is something that most Americans don't know shit about, as you guys mosty have herbal cannabis. At one point when I lived in the UK it was the only stuff you could get cheaply enough and regulary enough to be a staple.
So, edumacate me - what types are there?
Also what are the advantages of one method of partaking, over another?
I know only of rolled (with or without tobacco, herbal or otherwise), piped or water-piped.

eh I have We get Northern Lights all the time, when it can be afforded, and you are right, we don't smoke resin simply because we have enough shwag around all the time, no need. My favorite is indica, which we don't get a lot of..Bongs w/a chamber that holds ice are the sheyat...you put warm water in the bottom and the hit goes smooth and doesn't burn....great way of filtering, but then again cookies are good too

I'm not smoking today,,I have a heavy work load maybe after 5pm cali time I might have somethen.
oh and for the runners and others who can't deal with the smoke a vaporizer does the trick and makes it easier on ye olde lungs.

I tried a vaporiser,,and never was able to get very stoned what am I doing wrong?
My cousin was just telling me the other day it is mostly solids in England. I like the herbal stuff though.
Any recommendations on something to help meditation??? Or to induce hallucinations?

hmmm...CSG says you prolly are just not seeing any smoke so you think it isn't working and if you do see smoke then it has gotten too hot and isn't vaporizing. It could also be you were using a crappy vaporizer. It also has to warm up for a while before you use it so that might have been the prob...eh i guess you could have also just needed more...ehehe

I hadn't smoked for a couple months, because the last time I did, I hid my stash in a very creative place and hadn't been able to find it again. BUT this thread gave me the push I needed to search anew. Does weed ever get stale? this stuff seems to be working, because I think I started this post about 30 minutes ago ... I'm still on Prague time, so it's okay.
