Most who have been Disfellowshipped or Dissassociated from the Jehovahs Witnesses for Apostasy, have NEVER been given 2 chances if they have been found guilty of promoting 'ideas', that go contrary to the Organisations beliefs, and rarely do two witnesses testify against you. Especially if they have encouraged others to accept what they are saying is true that goes contrary to the Organisation are they dealt with in a fast manner.

However....did you know that all those who have been found guilty of telling others information concerning the organisation that is faulty are to be given at least TWO warning BEFORE they are to Disfellowship you?

Read what the "Insight to the Scriptures" says concerning those who are expelled and those who start sects.

    EXPELLING, I.S. P. 788

    Christian

    Congregation.

Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation. (1Co 5:9-13; 6:9, 10; Tit 3:10, 11; Re 21:8) Mercifully, one promoting a sect is warned a first and a second time before such disfellowshipping action is taken against him. In the Christian congregation, the principle enunciated in the Law applies, namely, that two or three witnesses must establish evidence against the accused one. (1Ti 5:19) Those who have been convicted of a practice of sin are reproved Scripturally before the "onlookers," for example, those who testified concerning the sinful conduct, so that they too may all have a healthy fear of such sin.?1Ti 5:20; see REPROOF.

The Christian congregation is also admonished by Scripture to stop socializing with those who are disorderly and not walking correctly but who are not deemed deserving of complete expulsion. Paul wrote the Thessalonian congregation concerning such: "Stop associating with him, that he may become ashamed. And yet do not be considering him as an enemy, but continue admonishing him as a brother."?2Th 3:6, 11, 13-15.

However, regarding any who were Christians but later repudiated the Christian congregation or were expelled from it, the apostle Paul commanded: "Quit mixing in company with" such a one; and the apostle John wrote: "Never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him."?1Co 5:11; 2Jo 9, 10.

Those who have been expelled may be received back into the congregation if they manifest sincere repentance. (2Co 2:5-8) This also is a protection to the congregation, preventing it from being overreached by Satan in swinging from condoning wrongdoing to the other extreme, becoming harsh and unforgiving.?2Co 2:10, 11.

For expelling of demons, see DEMON POSSESSION; SPIRITISM.

    "SECT" I.S. P. 886

The Greek word (hai´re·sis, from which comes the English word "heresy") thus translated means "choice" (Le 22:18, LXX) or "that which is chosen," hence "a body of men separating themselves from others and following their own tenets [a sect or party]." (Thayer?s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament, 1889, p. 16)

Christians were warned against becoming promoters of sects or being led astray by false teachers. (Ac 20:28; 2Ti 2:17, 18; 2Pe 2:1) In his letter to Titus, the apostle Paul directed that, after being admonished twice, a man who continued promoting a sect be rejected, evidently meaning that he be expelled from the congregation. (Tit 3:10) Those who refused to become involved in creating divisions within the congregation or in supporting a particular faction would distinguish themselves by their faithful course and give evidence of having God?s approval. This is apparently what Paul meant when telling the Corinthians: "There must also be sects among you, that the persons approved may also become manifest among you."?1Co 11:19...............................................................(shortened a little, and bold type and italics mine)

So Heathens......were you warned twice BEFORE you were expelled, and were there at least TWO witnesses there to accuse you of the charges????

My 'charge' was a non specific (AOP) CAPITAL OFFENSE.That's right, to this day don't know.

Danny , it must have been the direct channel of communication that the WT has with Jehovah , that said you will someday be a thorn in their side. If this were true they would actually be right about something.

    HA!

I was accused of having "apostate leanings" even though I had never discussed any issues with ANYONE. It took almost 10 years for JW family members to get up the guts to ASK me why I stopped going to meetings. I told them I really didn't think it was productive to get into a discussion about that with them. I asked them if they were happy and at peace being JWs, they said Yes. I said "Well I wasn't. But I am now. That's all that matters."

I guess when you are part of a paranoid delusional cult, that qualifies as apostasy.

I attempted to make them define apostacy so as to refute the charge. It had formerly meant "supporting false religion and teaching false doctrine, which involves abandonment of the faith." In our case they ignored the definiton and just said we no longer believed everything the Society teaches so we had 'abandoned the faith', hence apostates. I said that that would make them "thought police". When I asked what we needed to do to demonstrate that we believed, we were told to go to all the meetings and restore our faith in Jehovah. I then asked how they would know what I believed as it would be a simple matter to lie to them, he said they would know............ Bottom line is, they wanted our heads.

So Pete....you only had one warning? Any witnesses to the accusations?

The idea of warnings is simple rhetoric. It applies to a hypothetical case where someone is teaching doctrine unaware that it is not WT teaching. Not real likely.

Yeh they got 3 members of family and friends to testify that I said sometime over the past 4 years that I didn't believe in a world flood of Noah and wished I had gone to college instead of pioneering, the most recent and most damning was a phone call where I mentioned the UN thing in passing to my best friend from Bethel. He ratted me out.

In reality, I don't think they even need to DF you officially. As long as someone is willing to start a rumour about you to the effect that "a friend of a friend of a friend" heard that you were now Apostate™, it's just as good as DFing you ultimately. Once the rumour is out there, any JW that has heard it will avoid you like the plague.
