Hidding WT's Alaskan Plane?

  Back on October/10, I posted links to two incidents incurred by a WT's airplane on Alaskan fishing lodges:

  It is supposed to be that all vehicles belonging to the WT are registered under the name: "Kingdom Support Services. " The official final report of the second accident was posted on 11/25/03: http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=20030702X01003&key=1

  But It must have been embarrasing to the GB having these news published in this board as they have filed an aplication on 11/16/2003 to change the airplane's ownership registry to: Betz Tim. http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/NNumSQL.asp?NNumbertxt=710WS

  The aircraft's matricule (N710WS) will not change. You can track it on the FAA aircraft registry at: http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/acmain.htm But cannot do a FAA search under "Kingdom Support services" anymore. Either it was sold or the WT is trying to hide its compromising ownership of the aircraft.

  I am happy this post was brought up again. When I first started viewing this site I read about the plane. I have been trying to find out about it since. I told my brother who is disassociated but he did not belive me. I would really like to find out if this is true or not. My other brother is an elder and has some connections to Patterson and Brooklyn. My family is so trusting they do not believe the Society would do anything wrong.pc

  Nothing is wrong with it. It's the fact that they hide it and have hard working people build there hall for free. They use people and then discard them. Why not offer the trip to the hard working slaves at Bethel?

  If it was used purely for moving the troops around for WT purposes, there'd be no whiff of scandal. But there's some apprehension that this plane is being used for fishing and hunting trips for senior Bethelites. That's why it's being treated with suspicion.

  Who says they are hiding it? There could be a myriad of reasons for the name change, I seriously doubt it is to hide the fact that they have a plane from this apostate board, especially since everyone already knows they have it.

  How do you divide up a small plane among 5,000 Bethelites? As anything else, they would probably base it on seniority, so, as is being done, the GB and old timers would get to use it.

  Well go on being suspicious. All it is is speculation and conspiracy theories at this point. If I was an active JW and someone pointed out their "WT Plane information" as a reason to question the WT, I'd probably laugh my ass off.

  I think they just got tired of keeping the damn thing up... so they unloaded it on to Brother Trusting.

  I don't see why they would hide it. Owning a plane in Alaska is not considered a luxury but a necessity. Many towns don't have roadways in or out of town and the only way to get there is by plane. Its very common for people to have pilots licenses and planes there.
