In Ch. 4 of 'Shepherding the Flock of God' by the WTS is part of their worldwide non profit Bible Educational Work which is supported by voluntary donation but not required in order for a publication to be placed with 'rightly disposed' persons.

Chapter 4 addresses "Assisting those who are Weak" and is required reading prior to the KS.

It is the hope of this thread to assist those preparing for KS as well and assisting the WTS in educating those about the responsibilities and directions Elders must adhere.

Here are the previous discussion threads:

Have they always assigned inactive ones to an overseer? They sure make it hard to fade!!! My elders need to listen to the point on making an appointment instead of dropping by whenever.

    Thank you for posting!

    Paragraph 6: Shepherding

    Make an appointment!

    Paragraph 24:

    What a bag of crap

    Paragrah 25:

WT's in the past have stated that JW'S do not need outside help with regard to marriage problems? Eg relate / marriage guidence.

Par 25: "...While participating in group therapy by

a professional therapist is a matter for personal dedsion,

there could be a revealing of confidential facts

about other members of the Christian congregation

during such sessions if a Christian does not exercise

    discretion."

What is so secretive about the happiest place on Earth? Revealing Confidential Facts? Discretion?

    Cult, anyone?
