Do you fear a final judgement?
by fearnotruth22 inwe dont know one way or another if we will have to be judged by god and possibly punished for our "sins" better safe than sorry?
or, just do what makes you happy and worry about it when the times comes?

Might makes right, so what can I say to someone that can kill me forever. I love life and I love the lifegiver.
God does not have a contract with me. I have suffered from the day that I was born through no fault of my own and so has all of humanity. Nothing is clear about God and nothing has been written in stone about him during my lifespan Myself and all of humanity have been left at the mercy of unforseen circumstances, ctastrophic events, disease, no fault of humanity.
King David was shielded and could say in Pslams that God protected him. ERRONEOUSLY and WISHFULLY people apply Psalms to themselves. True the words are comforting but pain persists.
All of these issues that God has with satan as the Bible says has nothing to do with my conduct.
EVERYONE inckuding me wants to live a happy and forever without chasing a carrot. What does my conduct now have to do with that? I can ubderstand if I was living in eternity and happines and I did something to harm someone, but in that case I would ask God to take away any inclination of evil in me so that I wouldnot do anything bad and lose my everalsting life. Im sure evryone would do the same. No humans though has had the opportunuty to live in happiness and in eternity
My question is how will I be compensated for my suffering or shall we forget about that and just focus on my conduct. If Jesus paid then no defense is necessary bceause justice has been served in my case. If Jesus was a phoney, then God is going to do waht he wants and all I can say is that I just had to survive. I listen to my stomach, my sexual drive, my thinking, my feelings, my needs. How can I be condemnede for being what I am or Am I to fight myself
.
I do not believe in wickedness per se. I think that people cannot be blamed in the Judgement of humanity. We are thankful for life but we have lived without any certainty or guarantees for anything victims or benefoiaries of what God has put our way.
What can a broken machine answer back to his inventor if it could talk?
I did the best I could, I will keep trying if you will let me live

Do you still believe in God?
by IT Support ini'm a recent departee and am now re-evaluating all my previous beliefs and there's none more fundamental.
however, i'm not sure where to start: i'm sure i don't need to say there's an enormous amount of nonsense out there.
frankly, in spite of their other stupid teachings, i am considering reviewing again the articles in wt library as i think they do try to sincerely prove the existence of god.

Obituary
by darkuncle29 inobituary .

today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of common sense, who has been with us for many years.

Common sense is said to fall from the tree, also known as sun light, aka what is onvious The problem today DarkUncle is that the world is more complex than it was in the past because human thinking has changed the common people are clever deceptive and cunning. No one wants to slave today, IN the past people wwere more nieve no need for pope mobiles or president bulletproof armored cars or airplane security. Everyone had guns arsenic cyanide. Everyone had common sense back then and good motives but also lived very much conned as a clever few live in extravagancy, well the jig is up and the poor dogs have realized that they were being tied with sausages. Life is very complicated now. In tmes past you got hit by a car or were injured, tough luck for you but now you hurt some one and you will pay and that is why you pay insurance, but the greedy insurance companies just get fat collecting all that money and unjust laws force people to carry blood sucking insurance. So people get angry and comit fraud and sometimes justifiably so. Life is complex now. Too bad common sense had to die. I miss him so much I also miss simpler days.

Blue: I agree that the idea of God is a conclusion. God cannot be measured hence God cannot br proven by the scientific method. Mimd you though that Life cannot be measured either,. nor is life physical, inanimate objects can be weighed. Living things are animate and that cannot be explained because the same creature can die and become inanimate as a lump on a log. What is the difference betewwn aliving creature and a dead one? Both physical both can be measured but the living one has something that is beyong the physical realm LIFE. Where does life come from? conlusion the Source of Life, God whoever he is. And I love him. He both gave me and YOU life.
