Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?
by lv4fer ini was talking to my dad last night and i told him that there is no "organization" that jehovah uses directly.
he quoted this scripture and said "well then who is this talking about" i read the scripture and i have to say i am a bit puzzled.
if it doesn't say what the jw's say (not that i'm saying they are it) then what does this scripture refer to?

Who was right? Satan or Jehovah?
by professor insatan is called the "father of the lie" because he told the very first lie to eve.. in the beginning, god told adam to go nuts and eat all the fruit except the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden.
he said "but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die.
so then fast forward, eve was created and she's hanging out by the tree, talking to the serpent (satan) and satan says: "you will not die.

The new "Generation" doctrine
by Dawn incould someone explain to me how the generation doctrine changed?
i know that originally they thought it applied to the generation of 1914 and i heard that it changed.
i asked my dad to explain it to me but his explanation didn't make any sense to me - something like "a generation can last forever" ???

"The Trinity" - My Thoughts
by Olympiad inthe trinity my thoughts.
the thought behind the trinity is not so hard to understand or appreciate if you approach if from a philosophical viewpoint.
you must look beyond the obvious.

Why believe in the Bible?
by simplesally innow i know that a few of you would give me some sarcastic answers as to why to believe in it, or maybe i should say, have faith in the god who inspired it.. but i want to know why a person should believe in it?
i know that i want to, i want to believe in a god who cares for us, i want to believe that he will put an end to the misery that surrounds us, i want to believe in a hope for the future.. i am not trying to be idealistic either.
but is there solid evidence to believe in it.

Nebuchadnezzar's "Chief of the Bodyguard&...
by Olympiad inthe following scriptures shed some interesting light on the second chapter of daniel, which record events that happened in the second year of nebuchadnezzars rule if read direct.
our publications however place this reading in the second year of nebuchadnezzars so called "world rulership" after desolating jerusalem.
this would have been his 20th year as ruler of the babylonian empire.

Elijah caught up to heaven???
by amac inhere is a question...the account in 2 kings 2:11 (i may be off a verse or 2) refers to elijah being caught up to heaven by a fiery war chariot.
the organization has explained several times that he did not die here but was transplanted to another part of the earth.
their proof of this is that "years later", "at least five years later" he writes a letter to king jeho'ram of judah.

To the Clueless GB
by Farkel inalthough your mentor chuck russell proclaimed that jehovah god lived on a "planet" (hahahahahahaha!
), namely pleiades, modern astro-physics has shown he was quite insane.
just lie down on consecutive clear nights and watch the heavens.
