Territory coverage must be excellent
by Fatfreek inyes i go back some where i remember a bethelite telling us that they work their brooklyn territory every two to three weeks.
to me, that was astounding.
the year was 1958. at that rate, today the dubs must be standing in line at each door.. today, i've lived in a small arkansas community for 14 years and have yet to see a jw call or leave a magazine.. i suppose our house could be marked since i was df'd for apostasy, but that was in iowa some 28 years ago.

Shun Rich Food to remain celibate
by Fatfreek ini've been away for a long time and wonder if the society still advises young folks to avoid rich food when they're going to be with someone of the opposite sex.
i suppose if you're on a date you'd want to order salad and skip the pizza.. is that what is advocated today?
if so, is there any scientific basis to it?

by Fatfreek inaginner .
a person who takes the opposite opinion to others regardless the benefit or harm to themselves.
persons marked with oppositional defiant disorder.. that, from urbandictionary.com, fairly well explains the perception by many people as they examine certain beliefs of jehovah's witnesses.

Cell phone antennas, boosters -- do they work? Expensive?
by Fatfreek inwe live out in the country where our cellular signals are weak -- from 0 to 2 bars.
talking on the cell near the computer is generally not possible.
perhaps there is interference from the computer or monitor, i don't know.

My homebrewed GPS navigator mount
by Fatfreek inseveral weeks ago when we went to the dallas mudbug fest judy and i made up our minds that we'd never again visit a big city without a gps navigator of some sort.
translation -- we got lost no less than twice daily, each of the three days we were there.
i made it a point to ask around and elsewhere was kind enough to show me his device along with some added advice on what to look for.

Weather radar maps online
by Fatfreek inyes, they're available from several web sites.
i have my favorite.
what i'm looking for, however, is a place that archives them.
