  Why does the Watchtower or Scientology Get Tax-Exempt Status, They Don't Do Squat for Anyone!

  yesterday there was a plumber asking me about the watchtower's view of charity, you know how uncomfortable we got when people asked us "why don't you help the poor or try to make the world a better place?

  " finally i agreed that the watchtower is not a charity, they don't care about anyone other than their own members in new york and worldwide bethels.. can you help me locate a watchtower organization that is obedient to not only the bible but common decency, why are they getting a tax free or tax-exempt status if their not helping humanity or doing charity work?

  has the watchtower done charity on a consistent basis because all that equipment at bethel (medical, dental, tv studios and professional everything is very expensive.).

  I know lots of JWs who are collecting Social Security and never put any money in the Tax System because they worked "under-the-table" and had to qualify under SDI's Charity for the people who need help, not meant for people who evaded paying taxes their whole life to rip the Government off.

  Imagine you have all these Old JWs who never paid any money in to the Tax System complaining Social Security ain't paying much while other religions create a productive member willing to be moral and not a thief!

  So as you said Simon, JWs don't help, I think they do nothing but take money from the Government like the World owes them a living and free handout because of their low-paid jobs and dependency on W.I.C., Food Stamps and handouts while bashing the hand that feeds them, it's come to my mind how much I hate this religion!

  Robert, if the Bible tells us to help the poor and look out after everyone, how are they obeying God by looking after their own, the Gentiles did that much themselves according to the Christ!

  Can you help me locate a Watchtower Organization that is obedient to not only the Bible but Common Decency, why are they getting a Tax Free or Tax-Exempt Status if their not helping humanity or doing charity work? Has the Watchtower done Charity on a consistent basis because all that equipment at Bethel (Medical, Dental, Tv Studios and professional everything is very expensive.).

  How can anyone take the Watchtower serious when they don't care for the orphans, poor and widows, they are a vile emotionless organization fleecing the World! Please don't tell me the poor man sitting without food only needs a Watchtower and Brochure and told "Keep your head up until God's Kingdom arrives!".

  Can anyone tell me the definition of a Charity because I don't think it's helping a Magazine Company grow profits over time and secure eight business or nine apostle-like cash-businessmen get wealthy for the 21st Century.

  One more thing, I took my stupid cart and put it under my car and did donuts all over that piece of trash. What a worthless religion and lack of relationship with God or Jesus Christ because we followed Men instead!

  How many of you still believe in God or are still Christians?

  hello, i asked a new but old friend how many people are still christians after leaving the watchtower's mind control agency, for statistical purposes do you mind if i do a survey and see how many of you are believers?.

  please don't post if your not a believer out of respect for this poll, we need to sharpen each other's sword and help build each other up and meet new friends over the internet with faith in god or some other force of the universe.

  i asked another person how we can still manage our faith after getting burned by the high group mind control, he had a few ideas but he's not really involved with god because of how life burned him.

  From belief in some Sky Daddy, God or Creator to belief that there might have been a God, god, gods or someone who put things in place. How do you keep your faith after getting burned by the Watchtower? I need help trying to keep my faith that God still cares about us, my goal is to see if it's possible to be involved in a personal relationship with the Creator and his Son, or if your Buddhist or Hindu, or anyone who believes in a Higher Power that keeps you going. If I am still ambiguous please let me know,

  We all were programmed with a "false dilemma' or "false choice" by the Watchtower, "If they don't have the Truth, nobody does!' How did you overcome the nagging feeling that we failed to keep ourselves sharp?

  Hi, I grew up with a huge fear complex that the End would kill me and my friends when I was 4 years old. Please tell her I had to go through therapy in fourth to eighth grade because and this was paid by the State of California's Social Services. This religion has had a very nasty impact on my early developmental years, now it's interesting seeing how Christian Freedom and Salvation are not based on the Fear Mongering Crooks of Bethel.

  The Biblical Gospel is different from JWs, please tell her if she accept's Jesus Christ as her personal Savior she has nothing Eternal to fear! May God bless you and your wife!

  wanna-exit their in a battle against any form of Critical Thinking and their 1960s "Davey and Goliath" style videos are proof their doomed. It' took the "Shakers" almost 300 years to go extinct and they did not breed, JWs will be around for the 22nd Century with a really long Generation!

  The most beautiful video I've ever seen, how I love Mama Organization taking good care of our youth, making sure their set for the Future and beyond!

  Every time I head down to the mail box, I play this song praying that Jehovah will remove all my "Past Due" bills and "Collections Agencies" calling my house. It's great music when you don't feel like thinking or desire to be alive, just good old mind numbing "JW Paxil" allowing everything to be blunt!

  You have no idea what I saw, there's a "NO PARKING ZONE" $250 Gridlock sign where the Pioneers park the Cart while they hide in bushes from the Sun or head in to Starbucks to get a drink.

  How is the Public going to access the Trolley or Cart if they can't park, Sister Pioneer spent five hours sitting on a chair near the bushes, in the bushes and inside Starbucks while the Trolley was parked on the sidewalk of a "NO PARKING" "NO Stopping!" Zone, what happened to the preaching work we did?

  Has anyone else experienced the wrath of Elders and ex-Elders on innocent rank-and-file dubs? What are these power hungry men and their wives so mad about? Where is the love we were promised when those witnesses spent hours indoctrinating us about the Spiritual Paradise of Witnesses we would be joining? Where are these or "them" who love each other? All I experienced is their hatred and wrath, what should I do, roll away?

  i had a man walk by the cart and say "hey, you guys are now catching up the herbert armstrong's literature carts from the 1970s!

  he wanted to know if our organization move's at the pace of "evolution" when it comes to adapting to social norms, what madness is he speaking about?

  did herbert armstrong's crew have "the plain truth carts" in front of stores before jws had literature carts?

  I had a man walk by the Cart and say "Hey, you guys are now catching up the Herbert Armstrong's literature carts from the 1970s! He wanted to know if our Organization move's at the pace of "Evolution" when it comes to adapting to social norms, what madness is he speaking about? Did Herbert Armstrong's Crew have "The Plain Truth Carts" in front of stores before JWs had literature carts? I need to know if that's true, yesterday my Pusher had me parked a street where the sign said "No Parking, No Stopping! $250 ticket for stopping" and nobody walked by, she stooped down in the bushes while cars drove by and nobody walked by for six hours!

  The Vitamin store has a very sexy cart that can talk, while my Pusher left me unattended again, I was making eyes at the Vitamin Store Cart who has literature and has a voice box by pressing a button. I see this as a future trend, you watch, we are going to get 'Info speech boxes"
