Another One Bites the Dust!

how is everyone this fine evening!.

i just got a call from a very close family member yesterday.. he/she has come out of the borg!

i couldnt believe what i was hearing at first.

two weeks ago i sent the first one to a friend of 45 years who made a galloping escape down a grocery aisle and out the xpress lane to avoid my frightening middle aged wife, my 4 year old grandson and myself.

of course, i do sport a patch of facial hair now, and he likely imagined that he heard me asking the clerk for a gallon of fresh blood and three straws.

anyway, he moves quite well for a man of 71, so i gave him a nicely embossed certificate, suitable for framing.

my cousin passed away last week from cancer at the age of 49. the cancer spread so fast it took our family by surpise.

we figured she had a couple of years instead of months.

she left 4 children(3 were baptised and 1 was disfellowshipped a couple of years ago).

yup i went to the methodist church and heard them sing it was great wow in their rec room they had coffee and donuts and cookies people sat around got to know each other.

what a switch the witness's could take a lession with them, the only time you see goodies being shared is if the pioneer school is there or during a hall build, i think the gb is afraid to have rank and file have fun and enjoy each other like that at each meeting for some sick reason.

let me give you some details.. been married for 8 years.

not had any relations for 7. faded 3 years ago.. in middle of getting divorced.

i love christmas, i don't know if i am going to have a christmas tree this year.

most of my family live in kentucky.. i love decorating the christmas tree.

i have a ten month old cat that gets into everything, eats everything.

I'm still afraid of Demons and "things that go bumps in the night" why?

i think there is no god or satan or ghosts or ufo's....but....my sub-consciuos mind is so messed up by witnesses if i hear a bump in the night i need to investigate....in the back of my mind i fear demons more then a burgular!

it so weird, it was drummed into me all my life, it still freaks me even though logically i know it's not at all real.

i have a bad dream and jump up to check the house....how's that for a 37 year old 6 foot 4 man?

Why are wedding rings allowed?

as far as i know, the wedding ring custom, origins from pagan worshipers so why is that allowed by the wt???

i've never saw an article abt that in their literature.

Marrying Outside the Organization

the leader of the oshkosh salvation army is packing up and preparing to leave the community he served.. captain johnny harsh is suspended and will most likely be terminated from his position.

it's because he's planning to marry someone outside the organization.. back in june, his wife died unexpectedly.

now he's engaged to a woman who isn't affiliated with the salvation army, and that is against salvation army rules.. by talking to the media, captain harsh knows he could lose his current suspension pay but he's taking a stand, saying the rules need changing.. "the archaic rules of the salvation army are man-made, not god-made.
