In any case, if the current tendencies don't change it won't be very unlikely for the ex's to outnumber active dubs at some point in the nearest future.
And this will be an interesting situation in a way. Can you imagine there are 1 billion catholics and 1.5 billions ex-catholics? LOL. What a crazy world it would be.
One last thing. Some ex-witnesses are not mentally out. Actually disfellowshipping does not make you necessarily free from the WTS. Sometimes it causes feelings of guilt and more committment to return to the WTS. So not all ex's are likely to be ex's forever.

    Yes, so true!

You are issued your Mapsco by the Watchtower Society and you keep it after disfellowshipping. Using it to navigate is not uncommon. I kept my map for almost ten years!

The JW's make you cynical and untrusting of any information that does not come from Brooklyn NY.

So, what can you do but follow the same world view you had while inside the Kingdom Hall?

To be a true EX-JW you have to see the Bible for what it actually is (totally manmade) and that, in turn, frees you from the JW interpretation lock. The JW's have a good spin on a worthless book purported to be supernatural. But, it is just a patchwork quilt. So, it doesn't matter what ANYbody says by way of "meaning" or interpretation. It is irrelevent.

Then, you can start thinking for yourself without resorting to divining supernatural "truths" which mean nothing at all.

It is the oldest con game on planet Earth; the divine truth scam.

Very true, Pole! Df-ing doesn't make you an exDub in the true sense. Many need to realise that.

Neither does it mean you have to turn to atheism, as some believe.
