As an active witness, you won the lottery and offered to contribute a large portion of that to the worldwide work?
Would they:
- Take the money and cover up your "wrongdoing"?
- Take the money and DF you?
- Refuse the money?

They would take the money and cover up your wrongdoing this time.
They would tell you they don't need to know the source of the money. It was obviously Jehovers blessing. They would keep the person in good standing in the hopes that they may get their hands on the rest of the $$ some day.

You would most certainly be at the very lest publicly reproved or disfellowshiped. I have gambled many times, but I don't give a molded Pizza Crust how they feel. I enjoyed ever min of it, I might suggest "Double Diamonds" three dollar slots. Shane
I think it would depend on the situation. Many times lotto winners are advertised in the news. If this was the case, to save face, the JW would be publicly reproved however not disfellowshipped. I think the JW would at least expect it. If though it wasn't common knowledge, they would turn a blind eye and just pocket the money.

They would take the "unrighious riches" (Luke 16:9) and then DF the "greedy person" (1 Cor. 5:9).
He'd have to donate ALL of the money, lest he finishes like Ananias and Sapphire:
Acts 5:1-2 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5-6 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
9-10 And Then SAPPHIRA CAME INTO THE CHURCH Peter Said: the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straight
They would take the money so fast you couldn't see it leave your hand.
Then they would "encourage" the Body of Elders to look into the accusation of your gambling. If the Committee could verify that you did in fact gamble (buying a Lottery ticket) you would be reproved. public reproof if it was common knowlege in the Congregation, private reproof if it was not common knowlege. If you were unrepentant, you would be disfellowshipped.
They would just take it.... that's all, no complaints...

Elsewhere has my vote. They would take the money and lead you to believe that would be the end of it. Later when they felt that the most psychological damage could be done, you’d be DF’d.
