I grew up in the wt. I remember, as a kid, looking at the hideous pictures in the books from the 50's. It must have warped me. But anyway, after spending about forty yrs in the wt jungle, someone recomended ray franz' book crisis of conscience. Being in a weakened state at the time, i took up the challenge, and that was the end, so to speak, for me, watchtowerly speaking.
