    I know EXACTLY who you mean--and hubby and I are trying to think of him! I remember thinking that this guy sounded SO MUCH like Elvis---and as far as I know---he did only record one song!

    Was it Randy something? (Hubby says Randy---I though it was Billy)

    I can't believe anyone thought Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash or BJ Thomas sound anything like Elvis

    Can I toss another suggestion out here? Hubby just hollered in from the other room "Roddy McDowell"----and that was an English actor. I seem to recall the singer's name (that I was trying to think of) HAD sounded like another famous name. Could it be Rodney McDowell, or something close to that? Or was it the one that Arrowstar mentioned?

    There's also a guy named Ral Donner who sounded like him. His only het was a song called "girl of my best friend"
