For those that no longer go to the KH --I was curious as to what you have done with your Field Service bookbag?

For a long time I could not look at it without feeling guilty, then a couple of times I looked at with contempt.... after awhile it mysteriously ended up in the dumpster including... the books, tracts, WT's, Awakes, and return visits slips that was in it.

Where is your bookbag right now?

    In a landfill somewhere.

Back around March of 2002, in a wonderfully cathartic moment, I threw it and almost all of my WT literature into the garbage bin at my apartment complex. That was a great day.

Well, there's the elder bag, then there's the witnessing bag, and finally the magazine bag. All gathering dust - the dust of freedom of course!!

I still have my service bag and my carry-the-stuff-to-the-meeting bag, both of which are filled with yarn left over from different needlework projects. Too much to throw out and not enough to make anything big with it. I'm a packrat from way back!

I had one of those sachel type witenessng bags.

I tell you, it makes a GREAT mail bag.

    Let me explain.

I check my mail before going to work.

So instead of leaving all the mail int he front seat of my car, I put it in the bag.

    It's VERY convienient

Uncertain as to why, but I still have mine. Perhaps because it cost me a small fortune at the time - hand made by a leather craftsman. It must be the only remnant that I have left of that miserable activity. I have thought about tossing it out. Maybe when I can no longer fend off the demon attacks, I will get it out of the house.

cheeses - not often the sentimentalist.

Mine looks like a business bag to all non-JWs, but when I met a JW they said, "is that your service bag." I ditched it.
