I recall in coc that it was mentioned about the Mexican government at one time confiscated religious buildings. Therefore the society registered their buildings under another name. I can't exactly remember. I think ray Franz said they were some sort of community centres of sort?
Just a thought regarding their shunning policy.
The shepherd the flock of God book which only the elders are privvy to, says that a person will not be disfellowshiped if they insist on associating with their disfellowshiped or disassociated relative as long as they don't discuss anything spiritual. That they will only lose some privelages.
Is this a legal loop hole if they are brought to court over their extreme teaching on shunning as brought out in their magazines and videos?
