I know what you are saying, I am posting from Long Island and we got socked with snow. The reports all said 3"-5" and when it all ended, we had about 24-30"!! very unseasonal and no one was really prepared.

That amount of snow is just too much. We got 9 inches, and that was plenty. During the Blizzard of '96, we got 28 inches and that made it like a war zone. It's almost a traumatic thing to have to deal with large amounts of snow like you've got up there. I feel for you.
I'm with ya, Flower! Much shovelling and the commute this morning was none too fun! Only a half an hour late today, which is pretty good! I'm expecting the commute tomorrow will be worse though as the schools will be open again and the roads are still terrible!
I get crazy being stuck indoors...
