The power of god has inundated so much into personal self identity, which you can see cant be the spirit of Jesus Christ through all of this hate speech.

Power can sicken men to a point they can get irrational and delusional.

Maybe he's just little more despicable than the other GB men because of his alcohol problem ?

That's sounds like a joke, but y'know, something in that screed sounds, well, personal.

Like he's convinced it was a "despicable apostate" who filmed him buying $800 of top-top shelf booze, and he now fantasizes about being the guy who, when he's riding in the heavenly cavalry, gets to learn who exactly it was and gets to kill "despicable him" personally.

It is frustrating that there is no way to fight back against this smearing and lies campaign, because it affects so very much the way our families think about US.

The irony is, that WE are not the despicable ones, any who remain as JW's are, we may love them, because they are family or close friends, but really they are to be despised for continuing to support a discredited cultish religion.

    Awake!, 22 June 2000, page 6:

    Name-Calling
Some people insult those who disagree with them by questioning character or motives instead of focusing on the facts. Name-calling slaps a negative, easy-to-remember label onto a person, a group, or an idea. The name-caller hopes that the label will stick. If people reject the person or the idea on the basis of the negative label instead of weighing the evidence for themselves, the name-caller’s strategy has worked.

Rules & Regulations has it spot on. Jesus said that even the people of the nations love their brothers, but Christians are to love their enemies. Tony Morris should have said, "Love those who were once with us and pray they return before it is too late."

Also, if a person dedicates themselves to God, but choses not to practice the Witness religion, how does that make one an enemy of God? Unless of course you spell God W-A-T-C-H-T-O-W-E-R.
