They sure do. Look at a dubber funeral. Its not about the persons life its a recruiting tool. I may have to go to a funeral of my inlaws one day and to a KH to support my wife but other than that never again will I step foot in a KH. They are disgusting and evil.

During my life in the cult, many times the FS elder(and in meetings too) would advise us to catch those who are vulnerable....the poor, people who lost loved ones, people suffering in diseases....
Even now I think the JWs have the habit of searching Obituary advertisements and writing to them about the resurrection hope (Cult recruitment)

That’s how they got my parents. Both came from abusive/neglect backgrounds and had recently experienced trauma, without a family safety net - and there were the witnesses at their door.
