    Interesting to see how they home in doctrines that are impossible to defend, even solely from a Bible point of view, and state them as facts that only Satan would question.

    no same sex marriages - really?

    don't celebrate Christmas and birthdays - really?

    refuse a life-saving blood transfusion - really? (Watchtower just said blood transfusion - won't admit could be life saving)

    avoid association with family members - really (Watchtower speak for shunning)

    The Watchtower, as always, states these as givens, with no real supporting arguments to defend these.

    Here is the actual quote from paragraph 16 of the article entitled 'Overturn Every Reasoning That Is Against the Knowledge of God!'

    Satan continues to ask the same question he asked Eve in the garden of Eden: “Did God really say that . . . ?” (Gen. 3:1) In the world under Satan’s control, we often hear challenging questions, such as these: ‘Does God really not approve of same-sex marriage? Does God really not want you to celebrate Christmas and birthdays? Does your God really expect you to refuse a blood transfusion? Does a loving God really expect you to avoid association with disfellowshipped loved ones?’

    All smoke and mirrors as usual. The point they really want to make is don't talk to your disfellowshipped loved ones in case they tell you the truth.

    They proscribe celebrating Christmas, yet they lie in order to help joke-hova enslave the earth and destroy all happiness through the universe. Perhaps the whole religion should be disfellowshipped for helping with removal of all happiness, and joke-hova for removing the happiness throughout the whole universe. But no, they have to go for penny ante things such as worshiping the sun.

    What they really mean is. Do not use reasoning if it leads to something contrary to God (aka Guardians of Doctrine aka the drunken, gluttonous, paedophile loving popes aka the govbod).

    Indeed – did God really say that . . . . that a group of seven sexually frustrated, narcissistic old men wearing suits and ties, sitting around a corporate boardroom table in Brooklyn Warwick, New York would comprise the “Governing Body” / “Faithful and Discreet Slave” (capitalization theirs) – apparently™ soon to be ‘appointed over all his [Jesus’] belongings’ just before Armageddon (Matt 24:47)?
