I'm a bartender and love a good cocktail!

Here are a couple of my favorites:

    Key Lime Pie Martini

1 1/2 shots vanilla vodka, preferably Stolichnaya or 3 Olives

1 shot Ke Ke key lime pie liqueur. (it's imported from the netherlands available most places in the US)

Shake over ice and serve up or on the rocks. Tastes like key lime pie!

    Butterball

    1 shot Butterscotch Schnapps

    1 shot Bailey's Irish Creme

    Fill with cream. On ice.

    Southern Comfort Ol' Fashion Sweet

1 packet of sugar, a dash of bitters, and a dash of 7-up

    mix together and add ice.

add 1 1/2 shots Southern Comfort

Fill glass with 7-up and a splash of cherry juice.

    Irish Surfer

1 shot Trader Vic's Macadamia nut liqueur

    1 shot Bailey's Irish Creme

    Blend with ice.

Come on boozehounds! I've noticed a few of you here, anyone got any new or interesting drink recipes?

    Brandy Slush

1 small can of orange juice concentrate
1 large can of lemonade concentrate
    2 cups of prepared tea
    2 cups of sugar
    7 cups of water
    2 cups of brandy

Mix all ingredients together and freeze in a covered container. When ready to serve scoop a portion of mixture into a tall glass and add 7 Up to glass.

    I love brandy drinks.

    Brandy Slush-Mmmm! Sounds yummy!

Have you ever tried a Brandy Ol' Fashion' Blondie?

It's the same as the Southern Comfort one only use Brandy instead. Brandy Alexander's with creme de cacao, brandy, and ice cream are yummy too. Just don't try to drink 5 of 'em like I did when I was 19. Huge mistake!

Been drinking old-fashioneds since I was 13, sipping my parents. Make them a home too now. But I take it easy. I haven't had more than 2 in an evening for about 20 years.

Tried a Brandy Alexander but it was too much like an ice cream sunday.

    I also drink scotch.

    Kentucky KoolAde

1 dry envelope (2 qt size) of Wyler's or Crystal Lite artificially sweetened Lemonade(must be artificially sweetened--does not work with regular sweetened or unsweetened for some reason)

1 -2 liter(or 2 qt) of gingerale-minus two cups(16 oz.) --(you can use Mountain Dew but it is sweeter)

    2 cups of Kentucky Bourbon

In large pitcher mix bourbon and dry lemonade mix, slowly add gingerale.

    serve over ice.

mmmmmmm a Summer favorite of mine!

    I always called that Butterball a Sugar-daddy....

I love a single malt whisky, a sweet dark rum and a good bourbon... but I can't stand tequila.

I like gin too..prefer gin martinis...'martini' is my nickname from way back....something to do with a cruise I went on...can't remember exactly....

    The bourbon/lemonade sounds mighty tasty.

I like scotch too! Single malt Balvenie 12 year doublewood is my favorite. I like to ruin a good single malt by making it into a rusty nail which my fellow scotch drinkers think is pretty Philestine of me.

    Rusty Nail

    1 1/2 shots scotch

    1/2 shot Drambuie

    Yum Yum!
