Dano- We said what we had to say and everything seems fine.

Ummm, sure it is. If it just happened , which it sounds like it. You can bet they are sizing you up on the "friendship" scale. BUT....

What I'd want to know is how in a month from now your "friendship" with these jws are. Unless you happened to run across the rare, almost endangered type of jws, they are playing the 'we are super laid back, look we aren't what people say of us, jws'. Its an act that jws are trained to do in an odd sort of insidious way so that you will "come around". Remember ONLY they have the truth. You do not. That is how they see it.

    DANO:

Your post is unclear. You say you told the JWs that you don’t think it’s best for your children to go to the meetings.

But, the next sentence is written badly: “They seemed to take okay and asked us if we would like to pick them at 9:30 before the meeting”🤔.. Whatever does this mean??

Well, we can only hope that you actually communicated to these JWs that you don’t want your children to go to their meetings and MEAN what you say!

LHG, I think Dano is saying that his children will continue to visit overnight at the JWs home, but he is expected to retrieve the children on Sunday before 9:30 am so the JWs may attend their meeting.

While Dano may have made it clear that he does not want his children to attend JW meetings, that will not prevent the JWs from conducting at-home studies or discussing/teaching JW beliefs.
