One of the questions from the weekly Bible reading review in the Sept,KM.

What false accusations made against the apostle Paul reminds us of remarks made against Jehovah's Witnesses in recents times? ( Acts 24:5,6 ) WT.01 12 / 15 p.22 par.7-p.23 par.2

Acts 24:5,6 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow and stirring up seditions among all the Jews throughout the inhabited earth and a spearhead of the sect of the Nazarenes, one who also tried to profane the temple and whom we seized.

In what way does this account remind the rank and file about "REMARKS" made against them in recent times. What "REMARKS" could they be referring to that are similar to what happened to the apostle Paul.

How would you have answered that question during the review?

The answer is that both Paul and modern-day JW's have opposition.

That is where the similarity ends. Paul was FALSELY accused of trying to profane the temple.

JW's have received "remarks" (and notice the wording didn't say "false accusations" , but "remarks") about inconsistent stands on blood, cozying up to the United Nations starting in 1991 as an associated Non-Governmental Organization (way to go, Cyril Aliceno), and not least -- the pedophilia coverup scandal blown open on many documentaries worldwide including Dateline NBC.

But of course most JW's would loyally defend their organization, because they would be unable to believe that their leadership could let them down like that!

Right on the nose again Gopher! But you wouldn't say that in the kingdom hall during the review would you?

I could just see the school instructor's face and the other elders hissing in their seats while the rank and file are heard to be saying ,"WHAT THE ??????
