We cannot abstain from blood. Our bodies need it and they keep producing it. If bodies fail, a transfusion would be acceptable.

  Here is something a bit shocking ......

  At the time this no blood doctrine was created 1940's it was stated in the Watchtower that for one to infuse someones blood to another would intentionally inject the bad personality and sinful character atrobutes of the giver to the receiver.
  

  So from that sort of ideology we can see that the WTS leaders made something up from more of their own personal opinion which if you reflect upon many of the WTS doctrines were created on amateur bible theology.

  There is no question to fact that blood can contain some viruses and diseases, but the intellectually dishonest suggestion that article makes toward committing murder and so on is wrought full of lies and no physical evidence to back it up.
