You will be able to read a pretty interesting account of how certain JWs are linked to the pornography industry (including the dude who developed the JWapp).
The opposite of honesty is hypocrisy.

I was surprised to read the names of several JWs I used to know back in the day:
All four of these men had been high-profile elders in the Los Angeles area and nearby Ventura county.
When I was still attending meetings, I heard that Parodi had been "removed" as an elder. The word in the JW-rumor mill was that he'd been involved in some "suspicious" or "dubious" business dealings, but I had no idea the extent.
I did NOT know the others were involved. What a bunch of hypocrites.
I did a quick Google search and found this document from the Securities and Exchange Commission regarding the disposition of the matter with the Parodi brothers:
This digest reported that the SEC issued an order concerning Bill Parodi and his brother that both be “permanently barred from association with any broker, dealer, investment company, investment adviser, or municipal securities dealer” as a result of their fraudulent business practices.
Evidently, over a considerable period of time they defrauded individuals and municipalities out of tens of millions of dollars. Wow!
Although I did not know the details of this particular situation, it was the vast amount of hypocrisy that I did come to know about being practiced by many others in the JW religion that led me to leave in 2009.

I wonder if that was about the same time he gave up his HLC duties. According to his linkedin profile, he served on the HLC for Orange County for 12 years - until 2005. And now, he owns Overton Security Services.

Bill Parodi certainly has mastered the art of appearances: seeming to be one thing while actually being something very different.
What constitutes 'porn' in this video? Hard porn or soft porn? What about browsing through a lingerie catalog? What about having 'dirty' thoughts about that new receptionist at work or the elders wife? What about masturbation? Normally goes hand-in-hand (pardon the pun) with porn. So is it OK not to have watched porn in the last year but have buffed the bishop daily?
So you cant apply to be a volunteer if you've looked at porn and you cant have a wank at bethel. I'd love to meet this person who is being approved for volunteer status. He deserves a medal... pinned to his huge balls and permanently erect penis.
I think they also try and take into account just how skanky the porn is, too. 
Construction sites would be lonely old places if no wankers were allowed.
