My husband and i are celebrating our 42nd anniversary today!
There never not once has been a dull moment!!!!!!!
He is a very sincere person very honest, very warm.
Yes he is very sweet, but would never admit it.
Our wedding day was beautiful, we were married at 6:30
in the evening, my gown was white brocade satin,
chantilly lace, seed pearls,with organza lace,
design was fitted bodice, with long sleeves pointed
at wrist,the skirt was very very full with large hoop
just yards and yards of satin brocade.
Anyway one didn't make a big issue out of a wedding
in those days, at least were not supposed to.
But we thought we could pull this off with no hitches, since
we were pretty well liked in the cong. nice big reception to follow.
Little did we know the CO came for a suprise visit,
they used to do that in those days, you know
but the party went on as planned.
Needless to say he did not attend, which i was quite thrilled over.
So after 42 yrs 2 daughters 5 grandchildren, here we are
enjoying the best time of our lives.
Thought someone might enjoy a little peice of my wedding story.
