Since most JWS never planed for retirement, there is huge number of these men who were perhaps elders,

CO's or DO's branch heads, who actually have practically nothing to live on as they reach an elderly age.

So what better way to self support yourself than take on the position of GB member of the WTS., where its

known that you will financially supported until you die.

Food, clothing, medical, dental, cars, air flights and accommodations anywhere in the world

and be treated like an idolized celebrity wherever you go.

    .

Oh yeah baby, a GB member of the WTS. is really a good gig to get if you can get it.

I pretty much agree with your opening post. I think the GB decide most doctrinal matters and act as figureheads.

They also manage to dress themselves every day.

From the look of Mark Sanderson at the AGM - eating seems to be a priority, and from just reading the Babble Comics (Witchtower and Asleep!) they talk about sex in all its wonderful variety with disgust and fascinated horror. (Jehoobie saves them from being corrupted, unlike everybody else.)

(Who looks at the porn on their behalf - presumably they don't interrupt feeding sessions to do it themselves...)

The GB quite simply advance apostate clericalism.

Along with its apostate cronies legalism, moralism, supremacist ethnocentrism, and religious Gnosticism.

CTR described the outcome quite well:

"The endeavor to compel all men to think alike on all subjects, culminated in the great apostasy and the development of the great papal system, and thereby the gospel, the one faith that Paul and the other apostles set forth, was lost - buried under the mass of uninspired decrees of popes and councils. The unity of the early church, based upon the simple gospel and bound only by love, gave place to the bondage of the church of Rome ... Each new reform movement (like Protestantism) has made the failure of attempting to make a creed just large enough for its prime movers ." --WT, Sep. 1893, p. 1572

they stroke their egos, and one-anothers......keep up the act.......

i have serious doubts that any of them apply themselves to any serious scholastic or theologic study....hahhahahhahaha prety obvious, that observation.....

they don't have to work for a living, yet live high.....quite a peachy little system they got going there.

Good to hear the input from you folks.

It appears the GB are rather cloaked in mystery intentional or not. Hmmmmm.

A front for a big business it seems to me.

They are the god of the JWs.
