I agree IOML, a web site wont convernt anyone.

Also a hinted at purpose, along with a rebranding of the organization of the whole, is to have an "official" web site to counter information they arnt fond of, meaning former JW sites. Its all part of a rounder purpose, far more than a genuine 'share the goodnews' premise.

Do you think the GB had an " Oh Shit!!!!", moment when they realized they created a race of idiots, and then perhaps said, " Hey, wait a minute...this kicks ass!!!" ???

Considering the rank against lds.org which has oodles of free publicity (BoM Musical, Romney, Ordain Women etc.) I would consider jw.org a roaring success. Most jws in 3rd world countries aren't going to have much internet access so the page clicks aren't simply driven by members imo.

Still a sh***y religion and waste of cyberspace but not a bad PR effort.

I find it interesting that people with lower education levels are visiting the site more often than college students and people in graduate school..
