Can you stop obsessing over WT doctrines and WT magazines

and WT books and WT history ??? They DO NOT HAVE nor did they ever have

ONE ORIGINAL IDEA or DOCTRINE , its all copy-cat from Millerites,

Adventists, Insiders, Restorers, Outsiders, Deism ( rejected trinity )

Congregationalists who called themselves "New Lights"

the Golden Age Magazine, the Second Coming, the Chronology,

Dates, Plan of the Ages, all copied, borrowed and twisted to create

a power structure, isolating you by the WT 144000,

    limited access doctrine.

Its about cutting you out of the Body of Christ,

by creating "classes"there is no "earthly class" "heavenly class"

Its the WT behind that curtain, creating, "special groups" under

the "governing body" ( no such biblical term) being the top dogs.

There is no "organization" the last Priesthood was replaced

by Jesus Christ who tore down the wall between Jew and Gentile.

WT is pure organizational control. Fear based, fear mongering, isolating,

keeping you away from being empowered by direct contact to Christ

(no governing body required ) No "special class" no

"Faithful and discreet slave" "class" Its BOGUS, it is anti-Christ,

anti-common sense and non Biblical teaching, ALL OF IT -

    ITS MALARKEY-TOP TO BOTTOM

    - MALARKEY - ALL THE WAY DOWN

Yes, but you have to realize what the purpose is here. It is a place for JWs, doubting JWs, exJWs and everyone inbetween. Talking about the "malarky" of the WT is therapy to many. We believed it all. And we have to work through the issues that are still inside all of us. Some have recovered better than others. And we still have the tendency to have WT thinking sometimes. So discussing the issues that we believed, what we believe now, and what we are unsure of is healthy. The extreme negativity of some JWN posters does get some of us down at times. It's one reason I've taken a huge break from posting. But JWN is still important and there is much to be said about many of the posters here.

So the talk about WT doctrine will continue. As it should. We also talk about it so that perhaps we can help family that is still trapped inside. You must know the current ins and outs of the WT to be able to attempt a rational conversation with our loved ones. Most of us know more about the WT from being here than most current JWs do. And that too is important.

    (sigh)

Yeah, well compared to what? Isn't Christianity pretty much just well-edited syncretism?

They got 'Tartarus' from Greek Mythology.

They got the Logos idea from philosophy.

They got some nifty phrases from the Essenes

And some basics from Pharisees (Paul said he was one)

They got the 'sacred secret' phrase/concept from pagan mystery religions

They got some airy-fairy ideas from Gnostics (in John, ironically)

They got 'divinely called Christians' from pagan oracles.

Russell wasn't much better, with all of his occult nonsense disguised as "Bible truth".

and there is nothing new under the sun.......

    Rant away!! I love it.

I saw into the Miller movement myself this week and what did I see? All the flamin' pictures of beasts and statues from Daniel and Revelation, surrounded by all those numbers and dates and that...just like the WT!

I saw into Adventism and saw that Russell was in contact with Storrs and all those guys, and for all intents and purposes was Adventist!

I SAW GOODY WT DANCE WITH THE DEVIL!

Forgive me, I'm very emotional today.

LOL, the GB hide behind their use of the 'Jehovah' brand name; and the Writing Department on auto-pilot produce such glossy material that it is hard- especially for born-ins, to realise that it is all baloney and that the men of the GB know no more about God than the guy who makes your burgers at Maccas- but that's the way it is.

I appreciate that there are some sincere people here

who are trying to help family out of the WT.

I do not think it helps at all when you see posts of people

drawing a penis on Christ as is on this site,

which is supposed to be monitored to not include pornography.

I see some in charge of the site, who themselves have

never been a JW at all and who cannot understand the

"Hook" that gets us in the first place or the experience

of the born-in. I believe jgnat has posted she was never a JW ?

And women who are dating brothers ?

This site must look very frightening to those timid

souls who might actually be seeking sanity and spiritual freedom.

I was a convert at 15 years old, a pioneer, a "true believer"

(completly deluded ) and I read every WT publication thoroughly

and argued it from door to door.

I have therefore insight the non-jw who monitors this site

cannot hope to have. By unfortunate and long exposure.

I do not believe that re-hashing WT doctrines is freeing or helpful.

Think of Paul. When he was deluded and killing Christians,

did Jesus engage him in a detailed picking over of the Talmud ?

No. He knocked him off his horse and struck him blind.

By the same example: there is no gentle way to be born again,

thats why its likened to death and rebirth.

People need to stop thinking there is some miraculous

"answer" contained "deep" in WT publications, there isn't.

You have to face the fear and research outside

    what you have been taught.

NOT the kind of "research" put forth on this site,

which is a re-hash of WT publications and

    doctrines.

Real research; basic, simple, raw, Bible teachings,

which a child can understand. Example; regarding the bread and wine,

"do this in remembrance of me" is what Jesus said,

the only requirement was that you believed Him to be the Messiah,

and you were honest and simple, and sincere.

    Not complicated.

He did not say get together and "stare at the wine"

and refuse to drink and refuse to eat.

He said Do it. Not; refrain from doing it, and prevent others also.

John 11:26, "Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never die.

Do you believe this?" (these words were spoken to Martha.)

Martha replied: "Yes, Lord;I believe that you are the Christ,

the Son of God, who has come into the world."

John 6:47 " ... this bread is my flesh that I gave for the life of the world"

The world folks. Then he said other simple things, like help

widows and orphans, help those in distress, alone, hungry, cold,

and he would count it as helping Him. Thats not complicated to

understand. Be nice, share your stuff. Kindergarteners understand.
